Raw fleeces are available very early spring when we shear.
We are usually sold out by May, but there may be a chance that there is something remaining, so do not hesitate to email us! Fleeces are sold by the pound plus shipping.

You can schedule a visit with us any time of the year to view current fleeces available or reserve a fleece still "on the hoof". The best time to come is on shearing day where you can pick one as they come off the animal!
We will bring our remaining unsold fleeces to the NH Sheep and Wool Festival that is held at the Deerfield, NH fairgrounds in May. Come early for the best selection. Any remaining fleeces will be listed here after the event.

Annual ShearingWe shear in February before lambing. It is becoming quite an event and many of our customers like to come watch and often participate. (We can always use an extra helper or two!) If you would like to be notified when shearing day will be, just drop us a note. It is always done in the barn and out of the weather. We always have hot coffee and some breakfast treats on hand to keep you warm!

In an effort to save endangered breeds, the Livestock Conservancy encourages fiber artists to use rare wool. The program also educates shepherds about how to prepare their wool for sale and how to reach customers and fiber artists, providing a way to make money with heritage breeds.
