Art + science = A high quality flock
We choose our ewe flock based on three criteria: conformation, fleece and disposition. We are continually trying to improve with each generation. The Shetland Sheep breed standard is always kept in the forefront of our breeding decisions. We have a mixture of traditional and fine fleeces. Come meet our beautiful girls!
Edencroft Emma 2010
Mioget, Krunet Ewe - S31107 SheltrgPines Uther Pendragon x PaintedKnoll Tag-A-Long Our very first lamb and foundation ewe. The most amazing rare rose mioget color you will ever see! After giving us a beautiful last ewe lamb, Emily in 2021, she retired from breeding. We lost Emma in December 2023. |
Edencroft Gingersnap 2016
Moorit, Smirslet, Sokket - S43833 Summer Hill Nevada x Mapleton Cupcake Just look at that sweet face! A daughter of one of my all time favorite ewes. She thankfully inherited her mother's sweet personality. A super dense and crimpy fleece just makes her even more beautiful. An unfortunate lambing injury has retired her from breeding, but she is still a wonderful fleece producer and friendly member of our flock. |
Painted Knoll Annurka 2017
Shaela, Bleset, Sokket - S45411 Red Horse Duke x PaintedKnoll Johanna Annie has taken over the roll of our flock ambassador. She is as brave as she is beautiful. She sports white on all her limbs (and tail!) but retains a solid color fleece. It is super dense and has a lovely pewter color. One of our most popular fleeces. |
